The Power of One: Zoho One

It’s not often that I look at the price of a product online, and then have to do a double-take and …. to be certain …. refresh the screen to confirm what I am seeing is in fact true.

Well, that’s exactly what happened when I looked into ZOHO ONE – a beast of a software portfolio that includes a stack of cloud-based business apps designed to run an entire business across every function and organisational group. ZOHO ONE includes more than 40 integrated web applications and an equal number of mobile apps, all accessed through a single sign-on and managed with a centralized admin and provisioning panel.

So, you get a suite that can support:

  • Marketing Automation
  • Salesforce Automation
  • Social Engagement
  • Customer Support & Service
  • Internal Technical Help Desk (e.g. for IT)
  • Finance, Accounting, Invoice, Inventory and Expense Management
  • HR & Recruitment
  • Web Development & Monitoring
  • Collaboration & Teamwork


And a whole lot more – including a powerful built-in email client, document management and office functions, digital signatures, messaging and online meetings/webinars – and more. In fact, too much to cover in this short blog.

With this unified approach to software development, ZOHO ONE functions more like an “operating system for business” than a set of individual products.

But the shocker is the price – as it costs less than a price of coffee a day. Yep – you read that right. You can transform your business from what works out as £1 per day (per user) – and this is NOT a typo.

Now, before you fall off your chair, there is a caveat to note! ZOHO also offer each of the individual applications in this suite separately. If you were to purchase them all, separately, the final till price would be much higher. So, with ZOHO ONE, they have constructed a proposition that offers a slightly slimmed down version of the individual applications in a single suite – to suit the needs of most businesses, at least as a starting point. So, as business requirements grow and become more complex, you can upgrade to the fuller version of those products that make the biggest difference to you.

The alternative would be to purchase different (‘best of breed’) apps for different business needs – and then spend a ton of money trying to integrate them all. Heck – that sounds painful! What do you think?
